Managing Your Residential Meal Plan
Residential meal plans are managed exclusively by Residence Life.

Residential Meal Plan Guidelines
- Residents are responsible for paying the entire board cost even if meals are not eaten.
- Students MUST present their Augsburg Student I.D. when entering The Commons.
- Students may not give their I.D. to someone else to use their meal plan.
- Nineteen meals are offered throughout the week. Students may choose which ones they want to eat. If they use up their weekly meal allowance, students may use their FLEX Points to purchase additional meals in The Commons.
- To treat a friend, students can use their FLEX Points.
- Students on the FLEX Plan can use as many points as they like at one time.
- Flex Points can be used in The Commons, Nabo. Kafe Kafeega, and Einstein Bros. Bagels.
- Flex Points will carry from the Fall Semester into the Spring Semester, but will not carry over into Summer.

How do I purchase a Commuter Plan?
You have two options for purchasing your meal plan:
- Pay Elior directly, using cash, check, money order or credit card: Purchase a Commuter Plan in the Augsburg University Food Service Office, on the top floor of Christensen Center (behind The Commons). Office hours are Monday-Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. (subject to change without notice).
- Charge your student account: This process is managed by Student Financial Services. To pay using your student account, please contact [email protected].

Q: What are Flex Points?
Augsburg Dining Services strives to make your dining experience memorable, convenient, and seamless. That is why we offer Flex Points with our current board plans and as an option for commuter students as well as faculty & staff. Flex Points is a debit card style system, accessed through your Augsburg ID, for purchases in Augsburg Dining Locations. Flex Points is discretionary, meaning that you may use it as you wish. You decide how much money you add to Flex Points and we’ll even throw in some bonus points on top! Eight Percent (8%) bonus for purchase of $1-$200 in Flex Points and a Ten Percent (10%) bonus for purchases of $201+ in Flex Points. Flex Points makes dining fast, easy and convenient. Keeping more money in the bank!. Some rules and restrictions may apply.
